I got some picks right today...
Hits:
CHCC
This worked well when a gap up advanced from the gun early, then fell to the flat line and took out the opening price then on the move red a short entry arose. A decay in the afternoon and a weak close followed as it ended negative by almost 8.5% today.
MHR
An early gap down open fill to green triggered a long. The flat line essentially held on retraces and closed off of the highs but likely above the open enough for a modest win after commissions, up over 2% today.
Misses:
FUEL
This looks like a win since it closed positive by almost 6% today. However, it fell into the 2.60's twice after the noise candle period, possibly stopping longs out. Near lunch it greened for good, gradually rising into the finish, but by then stops would have tripped as per my exit specifications. A head fake loss.
URZ
Another fake out loss when this gap down fell under the previous close and low early on. Shorts sadly walked into a late morning red to green move that held and gradually climbed into the finish, up over 7% today.
Push:
RTK
Another very early red to green move and holds likely did not fake out shorts. It kept moving north gradually much like the previous day, en route to a positive finish of almost 10.5% today.
MGAM
This fell on the noise candle, setting the lod there. Subsequent candles each opened at their highs, and it fell under the flat line but did not take out the low for entry short. It drifted over and under the flat line before greening in the afternoon and closing positive by nearly 3% today without shorts getting any clear play.
BDCO
A no play on a significant gap down that unsuccessfully reached for the flat line and failed in the 1st 30 minutes. It headed down from there steadily, before closing strong but not filling the gap to go long at any point except at the very end. Closed up less than 0.5% today.
